Kevin-Prince Boateng joins Barcelona with a surprise £1.8 contract that was not foreseen by anyone. He came as a solution as Barcelona sought a player that will take off the minutes and pressure off of Luis Suárez. A player that the club could easily acquire and get rid of, as well as being easy on the wallet. Boateng sees this as an oppurtinity for his career, an opportunity like that of 2010 when he was transferred to AC Milan. The deal has a £7.1m purchase option for the summer. Barcelona is his 10th club, as he has previously played in Spain for Las Palmas 2 years ago. Boateng has won the Serie A in 2011 while playing for AC Milan and has 15 appearences for the national team of Ghana.
.Barcelona have already made two signings in January, with Kevin-Prince Boateng moving from Sassuolo on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy, and defender Jeison Murillo also joining on loan from Valencia.
