Usain Bolt Gives Up On Becoming a Football Player

The 32 year old Olympic gold medalist gives up on his dream of becoming a professional football player.

During his athletics career, Bolt set world records on 100m and 200 sprint. Bolt then went for his childhood dream – becoming a professional football player.

He played two trial matches for Central Coast Mariners. On his second match he scored 2 goals, showing an improved performance. The way his skills developed in the limited timeframe between the two trial matches might have speaked for Bolts potential to become a football player. But despite the results he decided to give up on his dream
