NBA All-Star 2019 starters revealed

LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been selected to captain the NBA All-Star 2019 teams.

The captains were selected by voting from the fans, media and fellow players and they will lead the Western and Eastern teams in the NBA All-Star game this season.

LeBron had most votes at the West and this is the team he picked:

Steph Curry (Warriors)
Kevin Durant (Warriors)
Paul George (Thunder)
James Harden (Rockets)
LeBron James (Lakers)

James will start the All-Star game alongside the best scorer in the NBA for the season so far, James Harden, Paul George and two Warriors rivals Kevin Durant and Steph Curry. Dallas teenage sensation Luka Doncic wont start the All-Star game, even though he had 3,301,825 votes and was second in the West just behind the captain LeBron James.

Western and Eastern team starters in the NBA All-Star game

The vote results in the Eastern Conference put Giannis Antetokonmpo as team captain. The Greek freak plays the best season of his career, leading his team to the first place in the East so far. The players he picked to start for the Eastern Conference team in the All-Star game are:

Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks)
Joel Embiid (76ers)
Kyrie Irving (Celtics)
Kawhi Leonard (Raptors)
Kemba Walker (Hornets)

Joel Embiid will have his second consecutive start at the All-Star game, after debuting last season. Kyrie Irving was the All-Star MVP in 2014 while Kawhi Leonard is playing for first time in his career in the Eastern Conference.
