Manchester United secured their place in the FA Cup fifth round with 3-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates.
It was the former Arsenal player, Alexis Sanchez who scored the first goal for the Red devils in the 31st minute, as Jesse Lingard made it 2-0 just two minutes later. The Gunners hit back through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the first half finished with 2-1 lead for the visitors.
United successfully resisted Arsenal’s attacks at the start of the second half and managed to take control over the game in the last 20 minutes. Anthony Martial finished the game off in the 82nd minute, after coming off the bench 10 minutes earlier.
United are now through to the fifth round of the FA Cup and maintained the perfect record since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over. The Norwegian now has eight wins in eight games in all competitions as Manchester United manager.
