Bayern Munich won’t give up on their Bundesliga title and gets back on 6 points deficit behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Thiago Alcantara gave the current German champions an early lead in the fifth minute. Dionis leveled for the visitors, as the half-time score was 1-1.
In the second half Bayern played with a higher tempo and they easily won the game 4-1. It was Gentner’s own-goal that put them back in the lead, while Leon Goretzka made it 3-1 in the 71st minute. Goretzka also scored in their previous encounter, which was his debut goal as a Bayern Munich player.
Lewandowski put the game to bad in the 84th minute, after previously missing a penalty 20 minutes before. The 18-year old Canadian talent Alphonso Davies has made his Bundesliga debut, as Niko Kovac let him play the final 5 minutes of the game.
Bayern is second in the Bundesliga 6 points behind Dortmund, as their title rivals won yesterday 5-1 against Hannover.
