Dortmund AND Bayern lost points in the Matchday 20 of the Bundesliga this weekend, as Borussia Monchengladbach took the 2nd place on the table.
RB Leipzig opened the Matchday on Friday with a 0-3 victory at Hannover, as they went 5 points clear in the Champions League race ahead of Frankfurt.
Eintracht Frankfurt stopped the leaders Borussia Dortmund at home with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. Marco Reus scored the goal for Dortmund, but the Bundesliga top scorer Luka Jovic made sure his team gets a point from the game.
Bayer Leverkusen produced a second half come back to win 3-1 against current champions, Bayern Munchen.
Leon Bailey scored a stunning free kick in the 53rd minute to level the score, after Goretzka’s first half goal for Bayern. Kevin Volland made it 2-1 ten minutes later, while Lucas Alario put the game to bed in the 87th.
Monchengladbach won their game at Schalke 04 and got ahead of Bayern on the Bundesliga table. Both teams have 42 points, seven less then leaders Dortmund, but Gladbach has the better goal difference.
Augsburg won 3-0 at home against Mainz, as they went 3 points clear of Stuttgart in the relegation race.
