Manchester United’s manager has confirmed that Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial will miss the tie against Chelsea on today’s press conference.
“I think they will be out for two to three weeks looking at it now,” – said Ole, which means that they will probably be out for the Liverpool derby as well.
Lingard pulled up shortly before half-time in the first leg of the last-16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
Martial was injured earlier in the game and played on until the interval but did not reappear for the second half.
Both players are of big importance to the team, as they perfectly fit to the manager’s style of play.
